You Are Not Alone

This powerful message centers on the profound truth that God is Emmanuel—God with us—in every season of our lives. Drawing from John 1:14, we explore how the Word became flesh and 'dwelt among us,' literally pitching His tent in our midst. This isn't about a distant deity observing from afar; this is about a God who stepped down from heavenly realms to tabernacle with us in our pain, confusion, and waiting. The sermon challenges a pervasive lie many of us believe: that we must get ourselves together before approaching God. Instead, we discover that God meets us in our mess, in our valleys, deserts, and mountaintops alike. Through the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, we see a woman misunderstood, mislabeled, and dismissed even by religious leaders—yet God heard her silent prayers. This teaches us that even when people misunderstand our cry, God recognizes our calling. The message invites us to do a spiritual checkup: Where have we disconnected from God? What areas are we holding too tightly? Are we allowing others to contaminate our healing process? The Hebrew month of Kislev reminds us this is a season of trust, hope, and light—declaring that even in darkness, God surrounds and supports His people. We are called to remember our spiritual posture: seated in heavenly places regardless of our earthly circumstances.
